This is a Programmer III position. A programmer is responsible for developing software based on a defined set of design and performance requirements. This position will work closely with other developers (both Java and PL/SQL), Business Analysts and functional customers. Innovative use of object-oriented principles to produce reusable code, increase maintainability, speed development, and separate concerns of many areas of the project such as reporting, data management, and database access. This position is in support of the very dynamic Army Reset program at the Logistics Support Activity.
Required Skill:
• This position will require proficiency in Oracle 10g database design and relationships
• PL/SQL
• TOAD
• Oracle Data Warehousing (not necessary but a plus)
• Business Intelligence
• Oracle data base tuning, Indexing
• Oracle directories and external tables among other high level knowledgeable areas.
• Must be a team player with good communication skills.
• Maintain an awareness of trends within the technology industry
