Team EITC, under the USSOCOM Enterprise IT Contract is looking for a Systems Administrator to work at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL. As a member of the team supporting the USSOCOM Collaborative Planning Environment, your primary responsibilities will include the following:

* Responsible for the day-to-day operations of all servers supporting the HQ United States Special Operations Command.

* This includes installing, maintaining, configuring, and troubleshooting all versions of Windows operating systems and server applications such as Exchange, IIS, SMS, SQL, and SharePoint.

* Individuals will also maintain COTS server applications such as HP OpenView, Symantec products, NetApps, EMC.

* Familiar with basic Active Directory tools and services with the ability to define concepts of Active Directory, global catalog, LDAP, group polices, sites and services, domains, organizational units, and trusts.

* Working knowledge of DNS, WINS, TCP/IP, networking concepts – routers, firewalls, gateways, and switching concepts – looking for knowledge of tools – ping/ipconfig/ tracert/nbtstat/telnet/nslookup/portqry – used to troubleshoot connectivity problems.

* Candidate must have a strong working knowledge of active directory schemas and must be able to resolve complex server operating system problems.

* MCSE Server 2000/2003 * Exchange 2000/2003 experience * VERITAS Cluster Management * Four years Systems Management Server experience * Familiar with Systems Center Configuration Manager * Familiar with Systems Center Operations Manager * Familiar with VMWare * Familiar with CITRIX

*Security+ Certification and at least four years recent hands on experience with Microsoft Client/Server operating systems and applications.

Note: This position is the 3-11 pm shift and will require 1 weekend per month...
